NATIONAL GOVERNMENT VILLAGE ADMINISTRATION POLICY, 2024

Village Elders play an essential role in Kenya's 🇰🇪 public governance at the grassroots level, providing a vital platform for community issues, cohesion and effective conflict resolution. 
They are also key stewards of our cultures, indigenous knowledge, practices, and heritage.
To formally recognize and support Village Elders, we have prepared the National Government Village Administration Policy, 2024 and invite the public and stakeholders to share their input through written memoranda.
