His Excellency President William Ruto presided over a high-level consultative meeting with leaders from the Nyanza region, bringing together key political stakeholders in a renewed push to accelerate inclusive development and national unity.
The forum, which included Siaya Senator and ODM Party Leader Dr. Oburu Oginga, focused on enhancing collaboration between national and regional leadership to ensure that development priorities reflect the needs of all Kenyans.
Speaking during the engagement, Internal Security and National Administration Principal Secretary, Dr. Raymond Omollo, reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to the Broad-Based Government framework as a unifying approach to governance.
“No region or community will be left behind in the Government’s development agenda,” Dr. Omollo stated, emphasizing the Ministry’s role in coordinating seamless service delivery.
Leaders present reiterated their support for the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA), underscoring its importance in driving sustainable development, expanding economic opportunities, and improving grassroots livelihoods.
