Following investigations and intelligence pursuits that have been ongoing in regard to Mandera and Elwak Makkah Bus attacks, Police now do release photographs of the Al Shabaab terrorists who were involved in the attacks. The Police are calling on members of the public to offer any information regarding their whereabouts or any information that will lead to their capture. Information provided will be treated with utmost confidence and will go a long way in ensuring that the perpetrators of the Mandera Quarry attack and the Makkah Bus attack are brought to justice!

This is to inform the general public that the department is in the process of having all foreign national services go online. To ensure smooth transition we shall start to pilot with the permits and passes applications from 1st march 2016.

You will be notified later when the other services like Alien Cards, Permanent Residency (PR) and Kenya Citizenship applications will commence online.

Cabinet Secretary Major General (Rtd) Joseph  Nkaisserry today received new choppers for the National Police Service to enhance Security in the country.

This comes shortly after the government will acquired 25 mine resistant ambush protected vehicles for police aimed at boosting war on terror.

Interior Cabinet Secretary   said the protected vehicles and the new choppers will reduce police exposure in volatile areas where Explosive Devices (IEDs) may be planted.

The National Police Service (NPS) will receive 500 leased vehicles by May in a renewed effort aimed at keeping police officers secure and effective.

The government yesterday, Tuesday, moved in to restore order at the troubled Ngati Farmer’s Cooperative Society by nullifying the deal between the land buying company and KenGen.

Also to be nullified are 249 titles corruptly issued to non-members of the land-buying society. Cabinet Secretary MajGen (Rtd) Joseph Nkaisserry announced the Government’s directive when he addressed hundreds of members of the troubled Ngati Farmers Cooperative Society at Maella, Naivasha.

Interior Principal Secretary Dr. Karanja Kibicho fired   two chiefs in Embu County because of  their laxity in the fight against illicit brews. The PS said this was the beginning   of an aggressive campaign to stump-out illicit brews in the country.

The administrators— Chief Peter Mureithi of Kieni North West  Location and Assistant Chief Francis Ndwiga of Kiangungi Sub-location were fired in public during   an afternoon baraza the PS held in Embu   earlier  today.
